Get Ready for Valentine's Day

I just love this Valentine Wallhanging. This is the project the Mommy and Me sewing class will be making on Feb. 1 and BC Fabrics. The kit for this class is $10. The kids will be on the sewing machines by then. This is an excellent beginner project.

Mommy and Me Sewing classes

 

I am SEW excited about the "Mommy and Me" sewing classes I am holding at the local fabric store. Bill Cole, the owner of the BC Fabrics, has given me permission to hold any classes I want at the store. Last week was the first sewing class, Lynda has really done a great job getting these organized and publicizing. She is very enthusiastic. This photo is the name tags for each of the girls and their moms. I love how Stampin' Up! has come out with the SEW SUITE line of products. It goes great to use with the things I am doing at the fabric store. I have made some cards which I will post later. You're going to luvvvvvv 'em.

I want to share with you a picture frame and card I made for a friend. My friend asked me to make this for a dear friend of hers who had a a close family member pass away. I love the fall colors and the warm feeling this gives. I used the French Foliage stampset from Stampin' Up! for this project. This is one of my favorite sets from the SU 2010 Holiday mini catalog.
